Emotional Safety Means...

emotional safety growth mindset support validation Dec 18, 2024

Hey Friends,

I have seen the power of feeling emotionally safe in relationships. When you have someone in your life who you can be your authentic self with, it creates a sense of security and comfort that is priceless.

So what does it mean to feel emotionally safe with someone? Here are five key indicators:

  1. Validation of your feelings 🤗: This person listens to you and recognizes your emotions without dismissing them or making you feel like you're overreacting.
  2. Keeping their word 💪: Trust is a cornerstone of emotional safety, and this person follows through on their promises and commitments.
  3. Support for your personal growth 🌱: This person encourages you to pursue your goals and dreams and is there to support you along the way.
  4. Non-judgmental attitude 🙅‍♀️: This person accepts you for who you are without trying to change you or make you feel bad about yourself.

Having someone in your life who makes you feel emotionally safe is like finding a hidden treasure. 💰

It allows you to be yourself and to grow in ways you never thought possible.😊
